Effective Factors Involving in Modernism among the Youth in Shoshtar

Abstract:
The present study attempts to examine the factors contributing to modernism of the youth in Shoshtar city. In the research the degree of modernism and the relationship between education, job status, the use of mass media, social and economic status and the degree of faith were evaluated. The data were collected through a questionnaire. The population was all the youth in Shoshtar 400 people were selected as the participants in the study. Validity of the material was formal. Coronbach index was employed for the data. Findings from the study indicated that the degree of modernism of 1% percent of the participants was low, 83/5% average and the other 15/5 % is high. There wasn't a significant difference between men and woman(married and single) and the degree of modernism in Shoshtar. Variables such as social contribution, employment. Social-economic, standing played the major role in defining modernism. Among independent variable, mass media of 15/3 % has the most effect on the explanation.
